What do we need to bring to board our dog overnight?
Your Subtitle Goes Here
You will need to bring your dog food in properly measured containers or zip lock bags per each feeding. For example, if your dog will be spending 3 nights with us you will need 3 x feeding (usually twice a day) = 6 bags with the ½ cup in each bag.
- We always recommend including an extra 1 or 2 feeding bags due to potential delay in travel.
- Any medications (oral only, no injectables) with instructions.
- Please DO NOT BRING bedding or toys. We do not want to be responsible for damage nor loss.
- Additionally, all dogs must wear a collar with an ID tag while on-site for their safety. If your pup arrives without one, don’t worry—a collar and ID tag can be conveniently purchased at Ruff Resort.

We believe every pet parent deserves to know where their dog will be spending their time and sleeping. While we don’t offer in-person tours to minimize stress and noise for the dogs in our care, we’ve got you covered!
You can explore photos of our resort on our website and social media, and we also provide a video tour of our facility so you can see exactly where your pup will hang out and relax.
What is required for my dog to stay?

All dogs over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered, and pass an initial temperament evaluation to stay with us overnight and daycare. The evaluation is free.
Your dog also must be up to date on their vaccinations (Proof of current vaccine records for Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Para Influenza, Parvovirus), and Bordetella (kennel cough) is mandatory. The Bordetella vaccine needs to be updated every 6 months, which is standard in most boarding and/or daycare facilities.)
Additionally, all dogs must wear a collar with an ID tag while on-site for their safety. If your pup arrives without one, don’t worry—a collar and ID tag can be conveniently purchased at Ruff Resort.
Where do dogs sleep?

We understand that every dog is unique, so we offer two overnight options tailored to your pup’s needs: a cozy, open sleepover environment or private, spacious suites.
In our open sleepover environment, we let the dogs choose their spots. They can choose to sleep on a king size bed, dog bed on the floor, or some dogs like to sleep on the floor. Some of them will cuddle next to an overnight attendant!
Suites are an excellent option for dogs who prefer more alone time or are accustomed to being crated. They provide a private, quiet space where your pup can relax and unwind, ensuring a stress-free stay. With high ceilings, luxurious Kuranda beds, and cozy blankets, our suites offer premium comfort and a home-like atmosphere. Choosing a suite is ideal for dogs who thrive on a bit more personal space or those who may feel overwhelmed in group settings, giving them the peace and relaxation they deserve.

Can my dog get injured?
Your Subtitle Goes Here
When dogs engage in play, they often wrestle, run, jump, and playfully chew on one another, engaging in what is commonly known as rough-housing. This type of play can sometimes lead to nicks. cuts, scrapes, or accidental tooth punctures.
We take special care in grouping dogs to ensure they all get along, but occasional disagreements or altercations may occur.
Our staff is well-trained in safely and promptly intervening to separate dogs in such situations to minimize any injuries. If your dog is involved in an altercation or gets injured, rest assured that we will provide immediate care and notify you as soon as possible.
